Securely Loaded & Well Packed, Our Vibratory Sieves Are On the Way to Our Client

Project Background

In the industrial sieving machinery industry, standard screening machines are easier to produce and deliver, while non-standard customized equipment always brings greater challenges. Non-standard models are usually required when customers face special material characteristics, limited installation space, unique production line layout or special separation requirements that cannot be met by off-the-shelf machines. This order is exactly such a customized project: 8 sets of non-standard vertical discharge screens, fully designed and manufactured according to the customer’s on-site working conditions.

Vertical discharge screens, also known as straight-row vibrating sieves, are widely adopted for continuous feeding and discharging in powder and granular material processing lines. Different from ordinary circular vibrating screens, vertical discharge sieves feature compact height structure, fast discharging speed and stable continuous operation. However, customized non-standard versions cannot follow fixed drawing templates. Every dimension, interface and configuration needs targeted adjustment. The customer chose us for this challenging non-standard batch order, which is solid proof of their trust in our engineering capacity, manufacturing control and customization experience.

Solution Design: Customized to Match Actual Working Conditions

Once we received the inquiry, our technical engineering team arranged an in-depth communication with the client immediately. We collected and verified all critical parameters one by one, including material type, particle size distribution, required throughput, separation accuracy, available installation height and width, connection method with upstream and downstream pipelines, as well as special requirements on material contact parts.

Customization of vertical discharge screens is far more than simply changing the size of the machine frame. It covers multiple core modules: First, structural dimension optimization. We adjusted the overall length, width and height of each sieve body based on the reserved space on the customer’s production line. The installation position of the feeding inlet and vertical discharge outlet was re-planned to match the existing conveying pipeline, avoiding on-site reconstruction after delivery. Second, sieve mesh configuration. According to the customer’s separation target, we selected proper mesh counts and designed the tension structure of the screen cloth to balance sieving precision and processing capacity, reducing mesh blocking rate during continuous running. Third, material selection and sealing treatment. We confirmed whether the material contact part needs carbon steel or stainless steel, and adopted reliable sealing accessories to prevent material leakage and dust escape during sieving. Fourth, vibration source matching. We configured suitable vibration motors and adjusted excitation force parameters to guarantee stable screening performance without excessive noise or resonance under the customized structure.

After the technical drawing was reviewed and confirmed by the customer, our production department scheduled the batch production. Producing 8 identical non-standard units requires strict unified process control. Any small deviation in welding, assembly or positioning will affect the consistency of finished machines. Our workshop followed the approved drawings strictly in blanking, welding, polishing, assembly and surface coating, to ensure all 8 sieves keep the same precision and quality standard.

Pre-shipment Inspection: Strict Quality Check Before Delivery

Before shipment, our QC team carried out full inspection on every single set of vertical discharge screen. The key inspection items are as follows: Check whether the machine runs smoothly without abnormal noise or violent shaking during no-load test; verify the tension uniformity and installation firmness of screen meshes; inspect all welding seams, bolts and connecting parts; test the working status of vibration motors; examine the surface coating integrity.

Only units that pass the full test can move to packaging and loading. For our team, shipment is not merely handing over the goods. Our responsibility extends to making sure every machine can work reliably once installed at the client’s factory. Pre-shipment testing is our last quality guarantee before long-distance ocean transport.

Loading & Shipment Site

On the loading day, all 8 non-standard vertical discharge screens were neatly placed in our shipment area. Each machine was wrapped with protective film and reinforced with packing materials to avoid scratches and collision damage on the sea. Our workers cooperated with forklift operators to hoist the sieves into the container one by one. After placement, all equipment was fixed firmly to prevent shifting during ocean transportation.

The whole batch was shipped on schedule as agreed. From technical communication, custom design, production and assembly, quality testing to container loading, we completed this non-standard order with standardized procedures and careful execution.

Customer Value & Our Commitment

The biggest advantage of custom non-standard sieving equipment is high adaptability. Instead of buying standard machines and spending extra cost and time for secondary modification, the customer gets equipment designed specifically for their process. It can be connected to their production line directly after arrival, saving modification cost and shortening commissioning time.

We have been specialized in vibrating screening and conveying equipment for decades, serving global customers in powder and bulk material processing industries. We provide both standard models and tailor-made non-standard solutions. Our service covers scheme consultation, drawing design, manufacturing, pre-shipment testing and after-sales technical support.
